Cumberland Community Church is focused on helping us all BE the church to the city of Smyrna.
In 2008 we decided we had to take bold steps to change the church from being purely attractional to missional. We were convinced that God had placed us here to serve the needs of the commununity. Through the help of World Vision we came up with a plan to get outside the walls and onto the streets. To be the Hand and Feet of Jesus! Every quarter we close down our Sunday morning church services and move the church into the community through serving.

Robert Irvine | Outside the Walls Pastor

Rob was born in 1952 on the hottest day on record in Guelph, Ontario Canada. He is the son of a watchmaker and a homemaker both of Scottish decent. He attended Culver City Bible School in L.A. and Emmaus Bible School in Chicago. He began ministry immediately after college and has served in many States and in Canada for 35 years. Rob has been on staff at Cumberland Community Church in Smyrna, Georgia for 12 years and champion all activities outside the walls of the church including global missions. In his spare time he experiments in gourmet cooking and wine and cheese tastings. He is married to his beautiful wife, Judi and they have 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren.
